Character Stats:
Striker:
PP: 8
LP: 9
MP: 4
Buddy:
PP: 8
LP: 11
MP: 2
Personality: Striker is just a normal 10-year-old boy with normal 10-year-old problems; bullies and dreams of being a baseball star to make his dad proud. He is easily excitable and may end up doing things without careful consideration. Being a child, he is also rather naive, but he is a sweet boy when you get to know him. Being young, he still goes through the "cootie" phase and will be grossed out by anything romantic, but yet he treats girls more nicely then boys. He is determined to follow his dream as anyone is, and loves to play other sports as well as baseball. Striker also likes collecting whatever junk he finds, storing it into his backpack. At home, he'll have various collections of rocks, candy wrappers, bottle caps, etc...
Buddy is...well, kind of a pushover as some would say. The chao is rather insecure, and cowardly timid. It also easily is hurt by name-calling and insults, labeling it simply as a crybaby. It is also clingy to Striker, but despite that, likes to wander by itself. However anti-social his nature is, Buddy and Striker are really good friends and Buddy likes to play catch with Striker, or just spend time with him. Yes, he was named Buddy because when it comes to Striker, Buddy may suck up some courage and be there for his friend when needed, but this is a rarity.
History: Every normal boy has a dream of being a professional baseball player or football player, etc... Striker's dad; nicknamed "Rocket Roy," happens to be a professional baseball player himself, so naturally the boy would look up to his father. However, due to his father's career, he hardly has time to spend with his son while traveling from coast to coast playing major league games. Striker misses him so, but is always working on his baseball skills for the days where he and his father DO get an opportunity to play some father-son catch, and Striker strives to make his dad proud.
Striker found a stray purple, spotted chao long ago when he was littler, and seeing it had no place to go and no one to care for it, he took it in. At first, his mother didn't like the idea, but warmed up to it knowing her son didn't have someone to socialize with all the time since his dad was gone. As time passed, the boy and the chao bonded to be friends, and Striker named him Buddy because he was one of the only best friends Striker ever had.
One day, while playing ball with some friends of his, the ball is knocked far through the air and Striker drew the short straw of having to fetch it once the game had finished. While searching for the ball, he stumbles upon something very mysterious...
...it looked to be a glowing jewel, sitting calmly on the grass in hiding. Striker has no idea what it is, but fascinated by the jewel, he takes it and stows it away in his handy backpack.
Little did he know, it was a Sol Emerald.
