 After what may have been considered hours, Tails finally witnessed the ever-so-memorable image of his house in the Mystic Ruins, and as he had flown not only the plant-girl, but also his arm cannon, you can imagine just how tired he was at this point. "Here... we... are..." he muttered, as he calmly landed right next to the door, which he began opening. "It's not that impressive, but... make yourself at home." he said to the plant-girl, as he went inside of the building, struggling not to collapse right on the floor. |

 And just in case he does, he'll find the young rose holding him up and walking him in. If he looks at her face, she'll give off a smile, the first she had in a long time. |

Seeing the plant-girl smile, Tails couldn't help but smile somewhat sheepishly back at her. "Right..." he said, as they entered his house. "Just make yourself at home, then... I have to finish something." he said, as he stopped just by a table with a half-finished blueprint on it, this being the plans for the newest Tornado model. |

"Oh, this?" Tails began, as he grabbed the blueprint, showing it to the plant-girl. "It's the plans I'm making for a new plane. I've been trying to develope some alternate fuel source for the engine without having to rely on a Chaos Emerald to give the plane power, but so far, I'm stumped..." As he finished talking, it dawned on him that the plant-girl may not have caught on to what he said. "...eh, you did understand what I meant, right?" he asked a little sheepishly. |

As she said this, Tails looked curiously at her. "You... don't know what a plane is?" he asked, as he scratched his own head, baffled that someone living in this day and age had no idea about what a plane was. "Erm... well, it's this machine that is designed to fly through the sky, like a boat at sea... except boats don't really fly all that well, and planes fare pretty badly in water..." |

"Never around..." Tails continued scratching his head, as he took a seat as well. Though, there was something bothering him; if Speedy and the Battle Kukkus were using her to power the mech, then... "Um, I'd hate to be a bother, but... how'd those guys get a hold of you?" he asked her, even though he knew that it could potentially be a painful memory for her. |

She looked down on her feet as it rocked back and forth. "I'm not like anyone else, right? I'm a rose...a plant-girl, so I was treated as an out-cast in my village. It was lst year some months after my 7th birthday that I went out of the village to see the world myself. Some time after, I encounter a fat bird in a lab coat and a white beard, he and more of those birds captured me and gassed me. For the next months, I was in machines, domes and everything as they tested me until they...they put me in that thing!" |

"That's... that's horrible!" Tails exclaimed, as several thoughts were buzzing through his mind. Fat bird... she couldn't be talking about Fukurokov? I thought he vanished along with the 15th... he thought to himself. "But... but how and... why would they do something like that?" he asked himself, though he suddenly realized that it was probably one of Speedy's schemes to do him in. "...sorry." |

Rubbing her arm, she gently close her eyes, "It's cause I'm different...I'm a plant! Those birds..they said I wasn't the normal creature, and studied me day and night. There was no other plant around me all those time..." she gently open her eyes and grabbed one of Tails' plants her might have around and gently rubbed the steam. |

Tails watched the girl rub the plant, as he looked into the ground for a moment. "...um, I don't think we've been properly introduced yet." he said, as he looked up at her. "My name's Miles Prower, but people usually call me Tails." |

"I need to..." Tails blinked a few times, as he looked around the room, knowing that the only ones in the room was him and Cosmo... unless... "The plant?" he asked himself, as he suddenly slapped his forehead. "Oh yeah, that's right! I've been so busy with the new Tornado that I've forgotten to water my plants!" Quickly, he dashed for a sink, pouring some water into a glass, before quickly returning to Cosmo and the plant. "Eh... how much water did it need?" he said to himself, though it could be interpreted as a question. |

"Ah, thanks. Then, I suppose-" Before he could determine just how much water he needed, he almost immediately looked at Cosmo in surprise. "Eh... did you just..." he began, as he looked from Cosmo to the plant, and then back at her. "And did the..." he continued, as he was at a complete loss of words. |

"You can communicate..." Tails began, as he slowly regained composure. "I... see..." he muttered, as he again scratched his head in bewilderment. Sure, some of his friends were pretty abnormal themselves, but being that he had just found out that this girl could communicate with plants was somewhat surprising. "Well, just tell me when it has had enough, then..." he said, as he poured a small amount of water into the flower pot the plant was planted into. |

"Speedy?" Tails replied, as he placed the glass on the table with a sigh. "Well, it happened about... four, five years ago, I think. Speedy's father led this huge army on an island I used to live on, looking for the Chaos Emeralds. And, well... I couldn't let them harm the natives on the island like they wished, so I stood up against them... and I defeated them. They vanished soon afterwards, but apart from a few sightings here and there, they've never gotten back into crime up until today." Then, he remembered something Speedy had told him back in Westopolis. "...maybe the 15th left with the stronger troops..." he muttered to himself, scratching his chin. |

Tails opened his mouth to answer, but slowly closed it, upon realizing that he hadn't thought too much of it, seeing as Sonic would have gotten a lot quicker with a lighter load... but what if Tails and Cosmo leaving was part of GUN's plan to capture Sonic? "I... I don't know. I could have flown back to help them, but I need a Chaos Emerald to power both Tornado II and III, and even if I found a new fuel source for the new model, I'd still take too long to finish it for any difference to be made!" Sighing, he began rubbing his temples. "What am I gonna do..." |
