On this plane... Is what the gang was flying in, which its passengers were only Sally, Bunnie, and Antoine...and Rotor as the pilot. Also with them was a mid-aged woodchuck woman known as Rosie. HEREAll was quiet, for this was a intense day they all ignored until now...coming back to the barren Knothole Island. Nearly two years have Sally Acorn avoided this place, and she tried to avoid everything involving this place, like her name, her history...and nearly her friends. How she kicked herself for doing that. She let that power go to her head, during the Wisps event. She wanted to erase her friends' memories of her, so she can devote her life to protecting the world, so no one will go through what she went through. But what she was doing was just running away from her troubles. Well she's sick of running away. Ever since Alicia, her dark counterpart, finally saw the error of her ways...well, she almost did, before, but she seemed to still stay by Eggman's side because she didn't want to go to a world where her kingdom died. Sally could relate, for she tried running away from that reality. Well, again, not any more. She was going to face her fallen kingdom and give her respects, her apology... ...and her royal sword.

Looking down on this barren land, even though it wasn't winter or even cold, Bunnie felt chilly. Her hometown, gone, vanished forever. "So glad we left lil' Cosmo at Vanilla's." looking at Sally, "You ready gurl?"

(Uh, they're still in the plane.) "...no." But she had to do this. The radio, on the dash, static. "This is GUN patrol Knothole. You are in a restricted area. Respond, or we will shoot." Grabbing the radio mic, "This is Princess Sally Acorn, passcode: Acorn-No-more." "...my apologize, your highness. What's your business here?" "...to pay my respects." "Understood. Good luck, and my condolence."

(Whoops!) Hopefully there won't be anymore trouble today, but sadly there's much hurdles to go through.

BGM: Demi Lovato - Let It Go (from "Frozen") Rotor turned on the radio, hoping to lighten the mood until they land for the island. Antoine kept twiddling his fingers, trying to think of something to cheer up Sally. But he also was thinking about his father, one of the top soldiers for the kingdom. He stayed in the kingdom to help fight those monsters that stormed the kingdom. Seeing his father leave him...it was horrific.

He wasn't the only one thinking of family. Bunnie was too. All she has now is her uncle, which she calls every once in awhile. When that attack happened, her parents vanished. She never knew any other of her relatives... Well, until that white world... she met her ancestor Scarlette, and thanks to gaining her younger self's memories, she now learns who else she's related to. "Ugh!" Bunnie shuddered at the memory. As gross as she thought it was, maybe it could lift the mood. Seeing her friends laugh is better than this. "Hey, did I ever tell you guys that bomb-obsessed duck Bean turned out to be my ancestor?"

Lightly chuckling, "I wish. Turned out Bean somehow fell into Aleena's timeline and started a relationship my ancestor Scarlette." She rolled her eyes, "How and why, I don't want to know."

"....Bunnie, that sounds like something out of a bad comic book, written by a man with a thick mustache who has serious issues."

Snickering, "If ya don't believe me, ask Aleena. She told me (okay, younger-me) how Bean (well, more of his sane-when-drunk-side Demo) decided to stay in the past because of Scarlette."

"Whatever, just fasten your seatbelts. We're coming in for a landing." he warned, gently pushing down the lever. "Eep!!" Nervously, he tried looking for the buckle.

In a rusty looking plane as this, oh you bet she's buckling up.

Gritting, even she gripped onto the seat, feeling the plane rattle as it was lowering to the island. Maybe she should've took that job in GUN, then they probably could've lent her an aircraft. But she decided, after they do this, that she would help her brother rebuild Cascade. The moment the plane touched-down on the barren ground, it bounced a bit. "No worries! No worries! Got this under control!" he shouted, hearing Antoine scream. Who was holding onto Bunnie for dear life.

Who held on back... sadly she forgot about her armored arm's strength.

And now he was screaming, both in fear, and in pain. Pulling another lever, the back of the plane let loose a pair of parachutes, which forced the plain to stop. Gulping, she forced her hands off the seats. "See? Smooth landing." he smiled.

"Yeah... smooth..." Now that the danger was gone, she finally realized what her arms were doing. "Oh mah stars! 'Toine, are you alright?"

The coyote twitched, badly, trying to crack his back in place. Opening the door, Sally froze in place when she saw the bane of her existence...the ruins of her old kingdom. Nothing was left but foundations of buildings, rubble, dead trees....nothing but death.

"No no...it is fine with moi." he groaned, staggering out of the plane. @rosie@ "Oh my!" the old woman quickly helped up the young lad. Gripping the scabbard of her sword, Sally just stared at the ruins of her former home. Just being here brought back horrible memories of the destruction, that terrible wizard, the... "Sally?" Approaching her, he placed a hand on her shoulder. "You know, if you want, we can turn back and-" "No. I made up my mind." she frowned, pulling her sword out of the scabbard.

So spooky, it was creepier than being in the ancient relics. Here, they knew the people that lived here.

The people...how they knew them. Sally knew them more, when she frequently snuck out of the castle to play with her friends. She remembered playing baseball in the park against other kids, like this porcupine, platypus, lynx, and pig. They were friends with them, though that pig guy didn't seem fond of Sally. Oh boy, he remembered when Sally dragged him and the gang over to zones. Sally loved exploring, so she kept going through zones, sometimes on her own. Perhaps that's how she got so athletic and stuff. Ow, ma colonne vertébrale!

Part of her wishes they were back in the White Space, there they could have seen their Kingdom still in its glory... provided it wasn't attacked by those demons.

Sally came to a stop, shuddering when she saw a massive palace, on a mountain: the Acorn Palace, that was once a pyramid-like structure. Now was like a cracked hollow egg, devoid of life.

Almost looked like one of those palaces in the southern rainforests now. She remember how she and Sally would sneak in and out of the castle as kids, now there's no one to sneak around.

Her home...now like this...all because of her. @rosie@ The old woman watched the girl lower her head on the sword she held up, sensing her sorrow. She seen this a million times, and knew that, once again, Sally was blaming herself. "Come now, Sally. The things you done since that day....your father would be proud."
