"...oh?" Humming in interest, Rodin quickly picked up these rings, eying them curiously. "...sir... did they drop more of these?" he asked, looking at Granite, as the general would see his glowing, red eyes beneath those sunglasses.

"Certainly are quite valuable looking," remarked the woman with a purr.

"There were more, but the rest faded away on the ground. Those were the only ones my men managed to salvage. From our past experience dealing with those pest, they travel the globe through giant rings, and I believe those might be it. I don't know where they're getting this kind of power...unless it had anything to do with the energies that came from that comet. We're still trying to understand it."

"...I see..." Rodin hummed, smirking a little. "...sir... would you mind taking your assistants outside for a moment? I need to discuss something with her in private." He flashed Granite a smirk afterwards. "Next drink's on me if you do."

Scratch finally had the nerve to whack away the woman’s leg, shooting a glare at Rodin. “Listen! We don’t need your advice, pal!” Now the woman started to look slightly annoyed. “I think you ought to speak with a little more respect than that.” “I don’t have to speak that way to humans other than the boss!” Scratch squawked. “…uh…S-scratch?” The two robot earned themselves a faint glare from the woman. Next thing they knew, they were being kicked right out of the bar; quite literally actually, and sent sky high. “I warned you blunder-busts to watch how you talk,” she hollered with a smirk. Then she turned around and return to the bar with a pleasant sigh, " That was satisfying."

"I know the feeling." he grumbled, following them outside. "If their test monitoring wasn't completed, I'd turn them to scrap." And he was outside.

With him out, Rodin smirked, holding the rings up. "...you feel it too, right, baby?" he chuckled. "These aren't just ordinary gold rings... they're halos. They're motherf*cking halos, baby." Grinning, he spun them around his fingers. "I knew the anthros were special, but damn..."

"Yes," the woman agreed, "I never would have thought that the anthros would suddenly be so much more interesting... considering that enlightening video." ...and also considering what that strange character said before Granite even came in here...

"...I have my doubts that the anthros are Angels, though; if they were, the only ones who would be able to see them would be you and me." Rodin pointed out, setting the rings down on the counter. "...but that comet Granite talked about... think it could have a connection to Paradiso, baby?"

"...I doubt it, quite frankly," the woman muttered. "I wouldn't think that something from Paradiso would cause mere animals to mutate...that sounds more like Purgatorio, or even the Inferno..." Then she glanced off blankly. "...but how it would even reach the Human World is beyond me."

"...in spite of that..." Rodin hummed, taking up one of the rings to look at it. "...the comet... the anthros... these halos... something thick's brewing, baby." As he spoke, he rubbed his chin. "...and the key to it all might be Aleena."

"...and our little guest from before saying something along those lines can't just be pure coincidence," the woman said.

"...exactly." Rodin nodded. "It fits together just a bit too perfectly... it's someting to look into." Then, he shot a glance towards the door. "...he also mentioned that Granite would have something regardin' her for us... but with the headache it's caused him, I bet he's not looking to keep her alive for longer than an execution."

"Thus she would be stuffed and mounted in his home as a trophy," she murmured under her breath. "...I don't really think that's a fitting end for someone with spunk like her..." ...but once again, this still doesn't really involve her clans...should she really think about getting into this?

"...though who said that we need to capture her for Granite?" Chuckling, Rodin leant in closer to the woman. "...I can scour the Inferno, Paradiso and Purgatorio for clues regarding the anthros around the Human World, while you can keep an eye on Aleena, baby." Then, he smirked. "...top that off with a daily fee from Granite, and we could even turn a slight profit over this."

The woman chuckled. "'Rolling in the dough' as the Americans call it now..." She folded her arms. "Sounds like a perfectly good plan to me."

Grinning, Rodin looked back at the bar behind him; where he knew his special, secret stache was carefully hidden from anyone who wasn't him or that woman... and maybe Enzo, but even he wouldn't be so stupid as to go behind the counter.

"Stop goofing around!!" the general roared at the robots on the street before noticing the buxom woman by the door. "Well?"

"Your free drink is waiting for you, sir," She said. Then she glanced over at the robots. "...you know General...I could show them a lesson in manners; only if you'd allow it, of course."

"I doubt it'll screw a piece of IQ into their pitiful AIs." he grunted, marching back inside. "So what was that about?!" he asked the bartender. "If it's about those rings, I'm afraid its needed for research. It might be the only key to locating those rats' hideout."

"I just figured I could make your life a whole lot easier, sir." Rodin chuckled, placing a drink on the counter for Granite to enjoy. "You need someone who can keep a sharp eye on Aleena, don't you?"

Scratch and Grounder only looked at each other… …then they burst into laughter. "A human? Teaching us a lesson in manners?!” Scratch clucked. The woman only raised an eye brow with a smirk. --------------------- Witch Time – An Umbra Witch’s power can slow down time, allowing the said Witch to go at extreme speeds to the naked eye. This takes the opponents LP away by -4 for the attack, then Witch Time deactivates. ---------------------- A wide wave erupted out, drenching everything in a violet blue void and instantly slowing everything down. The laughter of the two robots had gone really low and they took ages to get one single chuckle out. The woman took her chance and charged. Various portals appeared around them and clumps of swirling black hair shot out, shaped either like a fist or like a foot with heels, and she used the attacks repeatedly against the defenseless robots. The woman: PP: 0 LP: 11 MP: 10 [dice=10] [dice=10] [dice=10] Scratch - [dice=5] [dice=5] [dice=5] (And Grounder has no way of avoiding those attacks, so…) The void vanished, allowing time to run at its normal speed, and those smug looks had vanished, changing to baffled looks of horror. …since, you know, the robots were in tiny pieces, spread all over the road now; Grounder being in more pieces than Scratch. "That's easier said. She and those rodents are hard to track. We tried planting a tracer on her friends, but radar still can't detect them. They're far more resourceful than anticipated, proving how dangerous these creatures can be if left unintended."
