Well, that was an earful, wither it be in person or through a transmission, the general can really make his voice loud. Still, his target was that purple hedgehog, not the others. Though they seem to be powerful in their own right, including that one with ESP, but that's someone else's target, his are the fast ones. If that metal gunk didn't slow him down, he might have caught the animal-girl. Where she be put in those camps... he hates to admit, as he walks by those cages right now, its looks... well, sad. Not to mention the glares from most of them are uncomfortable. He is so glad his daughter isn't here, she'll be depressed, while his wife... he can imagine her teasing the caged creatures.

"GAH!!" Meanwhile, back in his office, the egg-headed general rested himself in his seat, with an ice bag on his head. He also had some bandages around his body, since he lacked his uniform shirt. Unlike a certain scientist of the future, Granite was in pretty good shape. "Blast that hedgehog...!!" Sure he wasn't expecting his latest mech to destroy her, but still, he didn't enjoy his latest defeat. How could he protect the planet when he can't capture that vile hedgehog? Sure, there was that woman he hired, but he hasn't heard back from her. Not to mention, there was Titan, who was perhaps more dangerous than Aleena. He seen the hedgehog fight the beast, and she always gets trounced. If there was a way to capture Titan and use him as a weapon... ...Granite sure knew how.

Looking at those cages, something bothered him. No, it wasn't the glares and the depressing aura, no it was the thought of seeing that girl in those cages. He doesn't have to report it just yet, but... he has to know. So, with a deep breath, he knocked on the general's door.

"Um, sorry sir." Sam gulped as he entered, "I didn't mean to disturb you, but... there's a question on my mind." Sam hope he won't be put into more trouble for this, "Is it really true that no humans were affected by the comet... at all?"

"No..." he scoffed, as if that was a stupid question. "Impossible! We might had heard clear reports of them."

"Well..." Sam scratched the back of his head, "See, while I didn't got a glimpse, but my wife and our daughter... they caught sight of this girl... with the tail and ears of a cat."

"Probably just a costume." he grunted, scooping up some papers into a folder.

"Well... my daughter said when she tried to grab it, the tail moved like the girl willed it, like any limb."

"Also... I made a few calls." He goes into his pocket, "Just for a confirmation. When the hedgehog crashed into an apartment building, she was carrying the girl. I was skeptic about what my wife said, but I had to get some witness to make sure she wasn't seeing things. I called the family who lived in that apartment, and indeed the daughter and mother both saw the catgirl. Then, there's this." Putting on the table was a blurry image of Aleena with Sara, though from behind. On the side could be seen human legs with the tail sticking out. "Its from my car, I tend to have footage when I drive, and it took awhile for that photo to get as clear as that."

"Hmph!" Obviously, the people were too frightened by the despicable hedgehog, that their common sense left them, thinking that was a real cat girl. But it wasn't the first time someone like Sam made such ridiculous assumptions. Throughout the years, there had been word, rumors that is, about hybrid people running around. No actual proof was made, but... "Look! I only go by actual facts! All I can say is that those people might had been peeing their pants at the sight of Aleena. She does that to people." Slamming the photo on the desk, "Now leave!! I have business to attend about that horrid fox monster."

"S-sure!" The man nodded, "Sorry to disturb you." He said, leaving the room. As the door was closed, he sighed. Well, still better than that earful that morning.

He has a way to control that beast, but the problem is finding it. His two circuit-fried robots couldn't do a simple job of planting a tracking device on it. Also, there was still a matter of using the captured Anthros locked in the receiving warehouse, to be used as gunnie pigs. Years, scientists been trying to find a way to return anthros back to their primitive animal forms. They do need test subjects, after all.

"So did you tell him?" Madonna walks up to her husband, her arms crossed. "Yeah... and lets just say the General dismissed it and threw me out of his office." Sam groaned, though no way is he going to blame it on his wife. "Terrific! We have a bunch of freaks running one, and people just igonirng it?!" "Hun," Looking up at Madonna, "If they did believe me, what do you think they'll do to her?" "I dunno." She shrugged, "Keep her off the street and lock her up like these other creatures." "But... isn't she... or was, human?" "Eh..." She was silent at that.
