Name: Barbara Dacia Koala
Nickname: Barby, Ms. Grumpy, Cloud-n-Rains
Age: 13
Gender: Female
Species: koala
Affiliation: Neutral
Type: Balance
Description:
Status: Student / School Paper Photographer/ Naturist
Location: Westopolis
Abilities:
Hockey Sticks: While Amy has her mighty magic hammer of death, Barby has her bone crushing hockey sticks. Barby, with her years of dirt hockey, has learned to handle them almost like swords. She relies on them to deal this giant enemy crab for massive damage.
Hand-to-Hand combat: Barby is a skilled martial artiest, even though she's no black belt. Barby is mostly good with wrestling holds that could make any man cry. Even if she doesn't have her sticks, her claws (used for climbing trees) makes a good substitute.
Weakness: It's her short temper and bad-attitude. When challenged by someone, she would lash out, even to those you shouldn't mess with. But giant robots, or deadly armies...heck no. She stays away.
Also, while she 'seems' to have super sense of directions, it seems it doesn't work in cities. She practically blind in them, getting lost easily.
She's not much into technology, so any digital equipment she has in her hands...she'll shatter it just to make it work.
POW Move: TBA
Chaos Ability: Gaia Eye: Barby has an uncanny, if possible, ability to navigate through forests, like she knows where she's going. With the power of a Chaos Emerald, that ability is magnified ten fold. She can feel the earth, and see through it for miles, perhaps over five miles. But this power is useless through metal and cities.
Character Stats:
PP: 8 (-2 without her hockey sticks)
LP: 7
MP: 6
Personality: At first glance, Barby is pretty bitter. Forced to live in the 'boring' city life, Barby was unable to do the things she loved to do in her old country home. She has a short-temper that is easily set off, making her prone to fights. Even back home, she had this problem, but martial arts classes managed to cool it off...a little.
Barby doesn't have much patience, and will not listen to authority when she's focused on something she thinks is much more important. She doesn't even have the patience to learn how to use a computer. When she tries, her anger will rise when she can't figure it out, and will smash the computer. Video games are....hardly the only thing she knows. Perhaps her girly side shows when she learns how to get her character to, say, do a jump kick. "Jump kick! Jump kick! ^^"
Other than that, she prefers the old tech, like VCRs, or non-digital cameras(which are better than digital).
While she likes adventures, she only like 'normal' ones like hiking, mountain climbing, and such. Unless she has a reason, she will not even dare to risk her life, in one of those 'save the world' adventures for she lives in a 'Let the friggin 'heroes' handle it' motto.
However, Barby is extremely protective of her friends. Not only would she stay out of dangerous 'save-the-world' type of adventures, she makes sure her friends do the same. While she may seem mean, she can be a nice girl even to kids, and will risk herself if anyone is in danger. But alas, she believes in tough love, and won't be gentle for people when it comes to manners.
Oh yes, and she has an Aussie accent. But she hardly use any Aussie slang.
History: A former country girl, Barby used to live in the open spaces of Christmas Island. During her much free time, Barby played outside with her friends, calling themselves the Downunda Gang, for as long as she can. Mountain climbing, hiking, swimming in lakes, Barby was a total outdoors person, and because she loved it, she liked to cherish it forever in a picture. With that, Barby developed a love for photography, taking pictures of anything interesting. Though she's more use to regular cameras and the old way of developing photos (Dark rooms and such.).
Sadly, Barby had a very short temper that got her into trouble in school. This was why she took some martial art classes, because her parents thought it’ll help her control her anger.
But despite that, Barby had quite a good life…until every child’s nightmare comes true when they have to move away.
Living in Westopolis, Barby took awhile to adjust to the city-life, since she was used to the country lands. Though the city was great for pictures, there wasn’t that much there she can do like back home, plus the kids didn’t like to do the things she like to do. So she didn’t bother to make new friends.
But then, after suffering in math and science, she was assigned a tutor, Rotor; the same as Mina. Since then, the three became fast friends since Mina was an artiest too somewhat, helping her with her songs, and Rotor’s inventions was something to watch, especially when they blow up. Sadly, these two rather like to stay inside, which made it Barby’s job to make sure they get some exercise. Thanks to Rotor showing her his workshop, she also found the open lands, where she likes to hang around…despite that her parents forbid her to go there since its too far away, and sometimes Eggman’s robots hang around there.
